Ascot Names Owen Williams U.S. Chief Information Officer

NEW YORK, NY, April 18, 2023:

Ascot today announces the appointment of Owen Williams to the newly created role of Chief Information Officer, Ascot U.S. In this role, Owen will be responsible for leading, developing and evolving the company’s business technology roadmap to support the rapid growth of the organization.

A veteran in the industry, Owen has been working in the insurance and technology sectors for more than three decades and has held senior leadership roles at specialty insurance and reinsurance companies since 2010. Most recently, Owen worked as Chief Information Officer for Everest Re Group’s Insurance division. There, he was responsible for the support and delivery of technology-driven solutions and created the technology roadmap for investment in core and strategic platforms.

Previously, Owen oversaw corporate technology initiatives as Chief information Officer for Hamilton USA, Chief Technology Officer for Tokio Marine North America Services, and Claims Chief Information Officer for Chubb. Owen has a BS in Management from Post University, an MBA in Finance from University of Connecticut and a number of professional certifications.
