In accordance with the Executive Order of Governor Phil Murphy and Bulletin No. 20-15 of the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance, all policyholders who are experiencing a financial hardship due to COVID-19 are entitled to a 90-day grace period to pay your insurance premiums so that your insurance policy is not cancelled for non-payment of premium during this challenging time due to circumstances beyond your control.
During this 90-day grace period, we will not be cancelling your insurance policy for nonpayment. This 90-day grace period commenced on April 1, 2020, BUT, if you contact us at 1-844-589-1563 you have the right to elect to have the 90-day grace period start on May 1, 2020. During the 90-day grace period, we will waive any late payment fees. This grace period applies to all installment payments, including renewal down payments, BUT this grace period will only apply to the renewal down payment if you notify us that you wish to continue coverage.
Please note that this grace period is not intended change the terms of your insurance policy or be considered a forgiveness of premium. Once the grace period ends, you will be required to pay any premiums that were due. We will allow you to pay the premiums due over the remainder of the current policy term or up to 12 months in up to 12 equal installments, whichever is longer.
