NEW YORK, March 12, 2024 – Ascot Group today announced the appointment of Andrew MacDonald as U.S. Chief Information Officer, reporting to Owen Williams, Chief Information Officer, Ascot Group.

In this role, Andrew is responsible for driving and delivering technology solutions to enable and optimize Ascot’s U.S. business strategy, developing a business technology roadmap, and managing the successful delivery of large business and technology projects.

Andrew joins Ascot from Insurance212 Solutions, where he was the company’s Founder and Principal, focused on transformation programs and insurtech. Prior to founding Insurance212 Solutions, Andrew held the role of Chief Information Officer at Kemper Property & Casualty, where he oversaw all facets of IT in support of the $4 billion P&C insurance operation and chaired a $100 million multi-year transformation program. He has also held significant leadership roles at CNA, The Hartford, and Innovation Group/ Huan.
